1994 MR2

Sound recordings

Since building and installing the custom exhaust system on my 1994 MR2 Turbo, several people have asked me what it sounds like. So I decided to make a few recordings and put them here on my Website.

In order to make these files small and quick to download, I recorded them in 8-bit mono format, so the sound quality is decent but not great. The recordings were made with the built-in microphone of a laptop computer sitting on the ground off to the side, about 3 feet from the back of the car.

Remember, I also have a Rebel Motorsports Ram Air Intake, so that affects the sound as well.
